STIRLING
CASTLE, THE LOCH LOCH LOMOND NATIONAL PARK
(THE TROSSACHS)
Commencing at 09:00 from
your point of collection we head to the City of Stirling
which is the ancient capital of Scotland.
Your
first stop will be the famous

dating back to the middle ages. You will spend time
exploring this vast castle (Approx. 2hours) The Castle
is steeped in history with its great halls, grounds and
the amazing views, including the famous Wallace Monument
standing in the distance at 67.06 metres tall which
offer fantastic photograph opportunities. Stirling
Castle entry fees are as follows: Adults £9.00,
Concession £7.00 Child (5 – 15yrs) £4.50, Child under 5
go free
After you depart Stirling Castle you’ll make you will be
conveyed to the Loch Lomond National Park and that part
known as the Trossachs, where you will see some
spectacular views, beautiful countryside & little
villages along the way. You will pass through the town
of Callander. After all this sightseeing, passengers
normally are feeling hungry and if was agreeable the
driver would stop at one of the local traditional pubs
for some inexpensive food.
After lunch you would continue on route to the bonnie,

where you would see opening up in front of your eyes
the largest expanse of freshwater in the UK (Loch Lomond
is 22.5 miles long, and 4.4 miles at its widest point).
You would be taken to the most picturesque village of
Luss, famous for its old cottages which were built to
house the slate mine workers originally, the old church
is a beautiful backdrop for photographs and from here,
you can overlook Loch Lomond to a spectacular view of
Ben Lomond – the highest Peak in theLoch Lomond National
Park.
EDINBURGH,
SCOTLAND’S CAPITAL CITY.
Commencing at 09:00 from your point of collection we
head to Edinburgh, Scotland’s Capital City.
Edinburgh is known as the “Athens” of the north due to
its fantastic architecture. Your informative driver
will firstly take you through the Old Town, with its
original cobbled roads which dates back to the 1100’s.
We will then drive up the East Ridge of the once
volcanic Castle Rock, to the summit where

stands, by far the most impressive castle in Europe with
views to match. Here you can see St Margaret’s Chapel,
the oldest surviving building in Edinburgh – which dates
back to the reign of Kind David from the early 12th

After we leave Edinburgh Castle, you are free to stroll
down the Royal Mile, with its numerous gift shops
selling the finest of products including whiskies. There
are plenty of places here for you to stop and have some
lunch along the way. Once we have reached the bottom of

which is the official residence of the Queen, when she
is in Edinburgh. Directly opposite Holyrood Palace is
the Scottish Parliament, which was reconvened in 1999,
the first meeting of the New Parliament took place here
on the 12th May 1999.
Moving on, your taken to the New Town, which was built
in the 1700’s to alleviate the overcrowding of the Old
Town.
